We're very excited to announce some new vendors joining us this week! For the next three weeks the second grade classes from John Johnson elementary will take turns selling at the Farmers' Market. They've been busy growing pumpkins, peppers, tomatoes, and sunflowers. Port City Deli joins us for the first time with breakfast fare and beverages. Harvest Moon, Mountain Shadow Farm, and Willie Williams return with fresh produce. Sweet treats and baked goods will be available from April Kneads Dough (cinnamon rolls), Diane Maxwell (peanut brittle), and Peace Valley Bakery. Tally Acai returns to sell delicious Acai & berry frozen purée and Bob Stott will be back providing knife-sharpening services.
Bring the kids to learn more about the city's Public Works and Public Safety equipment - Touch-A-Truck will be set up on Broughton Street from 10:00AM-Noon.
Come down to the Square on Saturday morning 8:00AM-Noon. Take pictures, meet your farmers, visit the history museum and local shops, and mingle with your neighbors. The Market will be open every Saturday through December 20, rain or shine. We can't wait to see you there!
