The weekend before Halloween is a great time to spend in Downtown Bainbridge! Come mingle with your neighbors, people (and pet!) watch, visit area businesses and shop locally. We have another great line-up of vendors this week. Harvest Moon, Hopkins Farms, Mountain Shadow Farm, and Willie Williams return with fresh produce and Springhill Tree Farms will have more pumpkins. Sweet treats and baked goods will be available from April Kneads Dough (cinnamon rolls), BSC Study Abroad China, Diane Maxwell (peanut brittle), Peace Valley Bakery, and Just Us Cooks. KBH returns with grass-fed beef and pecans. In the Garden will be back with live plants and Bob Stott will be on hand to provide knife-sharpening services.
We always recommend showing up early for the best selection of produce and provisions, but this week you'll definitely want to stick around - the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society will be holding their annual Howl-O-Ween pet costume contest in Willis Square Park starting at 10 AM. Join us for the contest, games, cake walk and other fun activities. (Entry fee is $5 or donated items for the shelter).
Come down to the Square on Saturday morning 8:00AM-Noon. The Market will be open every Saturday through December 20, rain or shine. We can't wait to see you there!
