Mr. Willie is a farmers market staple - he's been with us since since our first opening day. We all know and love him as the man with the boiled peanuts. On chilly market mornings you can often find vendors and volunteers huddled around his peanut boiler, enjoying coffee and conversation.
Willie Williams has been selling boiled peanuts and produce from the back of his truck since 2002. He grows collards, mustards, and turnips in his hometown of Newton, Georgia.
When he's not at the Bainbridge Farmers Market, you can find Willie and his wares in Albany, at the Express Lane by the Dollar Store or in Newton, at the intersection of Highways 91 and 37.
